Livestock for the week ending April
17 were 2,911 head of cattle, 1,044
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday fed steers and heifers
sold on a strong active trade at
prices $2 higher. Choice steers and
heifers sold $100 to $104 with sales
to $120. Second cut sold $95 to
$100. Cows sold on a steady active
trade. On Thursday veal sold on a
good strong active trade. Light
lambs sold steady, heavy lambs sold
$10 higher. Sheep and goats sold
steady. On Friday calves and
yearlings sold on a good strong
active trade.
There were 345 steers on offer.
