trophy with 55 points are skip Mike
Alexander, vice Ken Johnes, second
Ruth Bauer, lead Brian Warwick.
The winners of the
February/March curling draw
winners were: first, Mike Alexander,
Annette Lewington, Mary Bernard,
and Laura Fischer with 48.5 points;
second, Orval Bauer, Sandra
Josling, Brian Warwick with 48 and
third Stew Steiss, Debbie Campbell,
Brenda McIntosh and Tricia Fischer
with 45.5 points.

Nicely done
Polar Ice won the intermediate women’s division gold medal at the provincials in Lindsay,
March 22, for the second consecutive year.The team is based out of Seaforth with players
from Seaforth, Lucan, London, Mitchell, Stratford and Blyth. Area team members are: Sandy
Bos, Chas Bos, Brittney Bos, Heather Dietz and Jenna (Taylor) GIbbings. Polar Ice was first

Another season of curling ended with the Brussels club’s annual awards night Friday. Taking
the first draw, and the D.A. Rann trophy for most overall points for the season were, from left:

and Brussels and area communities to receive an award for contribution to the
