The fourth meeting of the Grey
Snickerdoodles took place at
Monique Baan’s. The meeting
started with the 4-H pledge. Roll call
was to name a favourite kind of pie.
Members were divided into three
groups and made a pie dough recipe
that made six single crusts, so
everyone in each of the groups had
one ball of dough to roll out. They
watched two videos on You Tube on
how to roll out the dough and how to
put it in the pie pan, and how to do
cool designs with the crust.
The leaders were very impressed
with how well the members rolled
out and shaped their pie edges.
Every member got to take home
their pie crust and they talked about
what everyone was going to put in
their crust.
The achievement day is tentatively
set for April 4.
