It was noted that Catherine Coultes’s
birthday is Feb. 4 and that Bob
Grasby is a patient in the hospital.
Also the congregation learned
Norman Wightman’s brother, Elvin,
and Gordon Bosman had passed
away. The flowers on the piano were
placed by Louise Bosman and
families in loving memory of
Gordon Bosman.
Rev. Murray lit the Christ candle.
After the singing of the hymn, All
Earth is Waiting, the children came
to the front pew. Their time focusedon waiting. Rev. Murray said Godwaits a long time for people to do theright thing. The scripture readingsfrom Corinthians and Psalm 62 wereread by Ron Taylor. Nancy Folkard and Nancy Jardin
took up the offering. Accompanist
for the service was Elizabeth Procter.
Following the service there was
lunch and a time of fellowship with
Rev. and Mrs. Murray.
Gordon Folkard will be the
secretary for the next two weeks. For

Scouts will be visiting the church

Awarded
Meagan Dolmage was the recipient of this year’s Murray
Cardiff Award, for the most points in the junior section of the
Brussels Fall Fair. She was presented with her award at the
annual Brussels Agricultural Society meeting by Jeff

This Friday, Feb. 6 there is a
seniors potluck at 12 noon in the
Belgrave Community Centre with
special guests Bruce and Linda
Campbell, talking about a recent trip
to the Mediterranean. Bring your
dishes and silverware. Everyone is
welcome.
Bob Grasby recently underwent
hip surgery at Owen Sound Hospital.
He will be transferred to Wingham
and District Hospital. Alf Nichol
has returned home after being a
patient for a few days at Wingham
and District Hospital.
The community wishes both men
a speedy recovery.
Sympathy is extended to Louise
Bosman and family on the loss of a
dear husband and father, Gordon.
