Shawn's nursery ,school teacher and his foster parents find him a co-operative little fellow. Ile likes M sing and enjoys the creative activities at ,school, Shawn is not expected to be academically minded and is slow in language development. His communication now is more likely lobe by smiles and frowns than by words, but he is having speech therapy and is making excellent progress. Shown gets. on fine with other children in groups but seems to lack the initiative and confidence to try to make friends with one child at a time, Ile is friendly with adults and affectionate with people he knows well, • Shawn likes picture books and plays happily with building blocks and toy trains. Cathy Lyon is a patient in Clinton Hospital having Lad appendix surgery on Sunday morning, Mr, and Mrs. Roy Vodden of Summerhill visited on Monday evening December 18 with his sister Mr, and Mrs. Bert Shob- brook. Christmas Day visitors with Mr. and Mrs, Jack Riley and Carman were Mr. and Mrs. Ar- nold Riley and Andy, Mr, and Mrs. Bruce Kelly and Cathy, Mr, George Mann and Mr. George Brown.
