A tight race is shaping up in
the Clinton-Blyth Ladies'
League at the Crown Lanes as
only seven points separate the
six teams in the league. Sea
Monkeys anf Hot Shots are tied
for the lead with 49 points each
but are followed closely by the
Pacers with 44; Road Runners
anf North Star "500" with 43
each, and Laughing Hyenas, 42.
Joyce Feltz had both the high
single of 296 and the high triple
of 734. Mary Davey had the
high average of 202,
Jurnp-N-Beens increased
their lead in the Londesboro
Ladies' League and now have a
64 point accumulation over
Jelly Beens who have 48,
Mixed I3eens have 47 and In-13-
Tweens have 23. Dorothy Car-
ter had the high single of 297
and Nancy Roy had both the
high triple of 650 and the high
average -of 204.
In the Crown Teen League,
Labatt's Blues have a slim' lead
with 44 points followed closely
by Les Etoiles Manifiques with
47. Bloomers are far back with
33; Coconuts Crew, 29; Deep
Purple, 26; and Farkle Family,
Deb. Johnston had both the
girls high single of 232 and the
high triple of 589. Bob Atkin-
son had both the boys.' high
single of 268 and the high triple
of 728,
Seldy's Sumacs still lead the.
Tuckersmith Mixed League
with a 53 point -total, far ahead
of Wallys Willows with 40;
Bob's Birches, 37; Bd's elms,
35; Cliffs Chesnuts, 34; and
Joost's Junipers, 33. Hilda
Yeenstra had both the ladies'
high single of 229 and the high
triple of 588. John Hayman had
the high man's single of 282
and Angus Hummel had the
high triple of 736.
In the Ladies Afternoon
League, Giddy-Up-Go lead the
pack with 33 points, followed
by Afternoon Flyers with 23;
Mad Caps, 22; and Alley Cats,
20, Gerry Harris swept all the
honors with the high single of
233, the high triple of 638 and
the high average of ,216.
Team Two dominates the ac-
tion in Bill's Mixed League at
Bill's Billiards and Bowling
with a 41 point total, Team
Three followed with 42; Team
0»e, 33; and Team Four, 32.
.Edith 'F'alconer had both the
ladies high single of 274 and
the high triple of 603. Don
Switzer had all the men's
honors with the high single of
305, the high triple of 750 and
the high average of 217,.
In the Bayfield Bowling
League, Alley Cats hold the
lead with 48 points, followed
closely by Cock"-A-Doodle-Dos
with 46; Alley Dusters, 45; Bull
Shooters, 41, Dianne Argyle
had the ladies' high single of
213 and Ruth Makins had the
high triple of 592. Willie Bunn
had both the single of 298 and
the high triple of 633,
In the Londesboro Men's
League, Macks are speeding
away with a 54 point lead over
Kenworths with 47. Whites
have collected 35 points and
Auto Cars have 32. Murray
Lyon had the high single of 271
and Gord McGregor had the
high triple of 657. Jack Arm-
strong had the high average of
217.
Crown Jewels continue to
sparkle as they lead the
Molson's Crown Mixed League
at the Crown Lanes with a 51
point total. Hi-Jinx are second
with 43 points followed by The
Goldens and Zip Cats with 41
each; Six Pack, 35; Dot Spots,
33; Half and Half, 19;' and
Canadians, 17. Gerry Harris
swept all the Ladies' honors
with the high single of 253, the
high triple of 649 and the high
average of 205. Ward Hodgins
had the mons high single with a
320 showing, while Bill Harris
had the high triple of 774,
Bruce Collins still has the high
average with a 216 mark,
Goderich still leads the
Men's Intertown with a 114
point showing. Stratford Mikes
One has 86 followed by Mit-
chell with 83; Stratford
Bowlmor 80; Clinton 'Crown
Lanes, 75; St-Marys, 72; Strat-
ford Mikes Two, 65; Clinton
-Cloud Nine, 58; Exeter One,
53; Zurich, 48; Stratford
Valiants, 38; and Exeter Two,
31, D. McWhinney had the high
single of 356 and B. Wilson had
the high five of 1447.
In the Wil-.Dex League,
Heidelburgs have the top spot
with 25 points, while Red Caps
are second. with 19, Molson

Dusters holding the lead with
36 points, followed closely by

nadoes, each with 28. Heather
Hart had the girl's high single
of 212 while Pattie Patterson
had the high double of 354.
Steve Gibbings had both the
boy's high single of 282 and the
high double of 468,

Frank Falconer, of RR, 5,
Clinton was re-elected for a
second term as president of the
Perth-Huron Shorthorn Club at
the club's annual meeting at
Egmondville United Church.
He also was named director
to the Ontario Shorthorn Club.
Other officers elected were:
Elvey Brodhagen, of R.R. 1,
13runner, and Roos Proctor, of
R.R. 5, Brussels, vice-
presidents; and Gerald Smith,
of R.R. 2, Brussels, secretary-
treasurer,
