Court of Revision was held on the
Forrest Thompson drain (Hay Township
drain) which affects only three ratepayers

Winter Works grant of $2,325,00, Tucker-

Council approved a request from
Maynard Corrie, of R.R. 5 Clinton, for land
severance of 12 IP acres of his property
located on No, 4 highway south of Clinton.
The land severed is along both sides of the
hayfield River and has been sold to the
Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Authority
by Mr. Corrie.
The Township approved a recommen-
dation of the Huron County Municipal Of-
lice that taxes be paid to the Boards of
Education twice yearly - June 30 anf Dec.
2-5 p.m.

A letter from the Ministry of the En-
vironment gives preliminary approval to
the Brucefield Water System providing it
can deliver 70 gals of water a minute.
A request from the Mayor of the City of
Windsor for a donation to the Essex
County Relief Fund for people whose
property was damaged or destroyed by high
waters from recent storms was tabled.

properties were summer homes,

McKillop clerk
in hospital
fractures ankle
When she slipped at her
home in McKillop last week,
Mrs. Marion McClure, Clerk of
McKillop Township, suffered a
fractured ankle. Mrs. McClure
is in St. Joseph's Hospital, Lon-
don where the ankle was
operated on on Wednesday and
a pin inserted.
