A number from here attended the wedding of John A. Saun- dercock and Barbara Wachowiak in Woodstock on Saturday, September 2nd. They also picked Jim Thompson up from Melton Airport having returned home from Prince George, B.C. Mrs. Don Barker of King City spent the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Whyte, David, Brian, Crystal and Murray. Mr. Barker and family visited on Sunday, all returning home to King City.. Mrs. Irene Grimoldby returned home on Saturday having spent the past two weeks visiting with relatives in Windsor. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sturgeon, Mrs. Jessie McIver and Mr. Scott of Clinton visited on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. George Mcllwain and family. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Whyte and family of Glen Orchard spent a few days the past week with his father, Mr. Harold Whyte, also with Mrs. W.L. Whyte, Tom and Bill. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Van der Molan, Paul, Mark and Margie of Oakville spent the weekend and Mr. and Mrs. Crapper of .Guelph, Mr. and Mrs. Koo formerly of Malaysia were Saturday visitors with Mrs. Whyte and family, Paul Van der Molan remained for this weeks holidays with his grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shaddick celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on Friday, Septem- ber 1st. They spent the weekend with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shaddick and family of Glen Morris. Miss Marie Padrutt returned to her home in Switzerland on Saturday having spent past month at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Shaddick and Jef- frey Lloy. Bill, Cheryl and Lori Arm- strong spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Armstrong. Ken Arm- strong visited with his parents on Sunday. The children retur- ned home with them, taking David who had spent the past two weeks' holiday here. Mrs. Ken Armstrong is a patient in Stratford hospital following surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Shah- brook, Darrell and Diane visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Miltson and family of Woodstock and with Mr, and Mrs. Dennis Shobbrook and girls of Galt and called on her mother Mrs. Ethel Pierce in Vic- toria Hospital Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Reg Lawson, John and Elizabeth and Mr.John Turner of Tuckersmith spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Warren, Helen and Lynda at their cottage at Lion's Head. Mrs. Irene Grimoldby spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Betties, Pam and Michael of Seaforth. Mr. and Mrs.° Marris Bos, Steven, Sharon and Kenny and Mr. and Mrs. John Wammes visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Case Van Raay and family of Dashwood. Mrs. Bob Johnston of Grand Valley visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Medd and Kerri. Mrs. Bill Storey attended decoration day at the cemetery in Staffa on Sunday. Brenda and Bonnie Dawson are spending this week holidaying with their grandmother Mrs. Ella Jewitt, and boys. Del Bedard of Goderich is spending this week with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Riley and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ron McKay, Susan Audra and George of Clinton were Monday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riley. Vicki Powell of Auburn is spending this week of holidays with Betty Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs, John Mann of Clinton visited on Monday afternoon with Mrs. Irene Grimoldby.
