Disney Studios as a film editor. Six years ago he lecided to come to Canada as the film industry in England was becoming very slow. He is presentingly Editor of Rabkcp, a member of the Canadian Film Editors in Toronto, and has edited several, commercials for .B.C. Mr, Hood was assisted in the production by Mr. Michael Koszycia of Toronto, formerly of Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Koszycia is a staff cameraman for Rabkco and has done• film editing for the past four years, Miss Kristen Ebsen, who plays the leading role, is studying to be an actress and is also a film editor's assistant with Post Productions of Toronto. The film, which is to have its premiere showing in Bayfield in December, was shot on the sixth concession of Goderich Township on Picot's Hill. Mr. Doug Allen in charge of location production, said that they were extremely pleased with the co-operation of all those who aided ar.d participated in any way. Special mention goes out to Westlake's Ambulance Service, Zurich, the three ambulance attendants, Mr. Mozart Gelinas, Mr. Kenny Westlake and Mr. Jim McW hinney, all of Zurich; Mr. Ron de Jong and the de Jong Farms; the Clinton Police Department for the use of their fire truck and Mr. Les Elliott and Mr. Don Warner, Hayfield volunteer firemen; to Mr. Glen Price, owner of Clere-Vu Auto Wreckers for used car parts; to Mr. Ross Middleton, who produced the "rain" necessary for part of the filming, and to all the Bayfield and area residents who provided the necessary crowd gathered at the mock accident scene. Mrs. Cecil Cooper, Clinton, has been visiting for the past month with her daughter, Mrs. Helen Fraser. Mr. and Mrs. William Furter and family of R.M.C. Kingston spent the past week with his mother, Mrs. Margaret Furter. Mr. Stewart Atkinson, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, was in the village during the weekend. Congratulations are eXten-iled to Mr, and Mrs. Marris Bos on the birth of a son on August 17 in Clinton Public Hospital and. to Mr.. and Mrs, Rion Jewitt of Clinton (former resident) on the birth of a son on August 18 in a London hospital. Jim Medd accompanied by Larry Jewitt returned to a lumber camp in Northern B,C, by plane Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Nolan and boys returned to their home in Toronto after spending the Past two weeks at their summer home in the village. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Thompson and Joan spent the weekend with Mr, and Mrs. Don Keyes and Sandra of Point Edward. Beth returned home after spending the past week with the Thompsons. Mr, and Mrs. John Jewitt, Carol, Judy, Danny and Billy; Mrs. Ella Jewitt, Kevin and Steven; Mrs. Elma Jewitt, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jewitt and Jennifer of Clinton attended the McRorie picnic at Ipperwash on Wednesday. April Ward and Betty Thompson of Toronto spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson, Sharon and Bob. Miss Gisela Dorrance of Owen Sound spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dorrance. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buchanan, Bill, Doug, Betty and Bobby and Mrs. Laws went by bus on Sunday to attend the church service in Akron, Ohio,. conducted by Rex nuinbard. Mrs. Kurtz returned to her cottage and had as weekend guests, Betsy and Steve Kurtz and Veronica Major of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and Peggy Kurtz Kalamazoo, Michigan, and her sister and family Mrs. Jerome Vann, Holly, Howard and Christopher, Royal Oak, Michigan Sunday evening Dr. Ronald Kurtz and sons Gordon and Jeremy of Grinnell, Iowa, arrived to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Sturgeon, Jeff and Rollie, Orangeville, visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Sturgeon during the past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baker have three of their grandchildren, Julie, Laura and Monica Hislop of Port Huron with them this week while their parents, Dr. and Mrs, Moore Hislop, are in Scotland attending the wedding of his brother. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Klaudi, Freddie, Albert and Robbie, London, were at their cottage for the weekend.
