Film crew in Bayfield Constance

Miles" which was written and
lirected by Mr. Kit Hood of
Toronto,
Mr. Hoed was born in
pngland and began his career
,yith Walt. Disney Studios as a
film editor. Six years ago he
lecided to come to Canada as
the film industry in England
was becoming very slow. He is
presentingly Editor of Rabkcp, a
member of the Canadian Film
Editors in Toronto, and has
edited several, commercials for
.B.C.
Mr, Hood was assisted in the
production by Mr. Michael
Koszycia of Toronto, formerly of
Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Koszycia
is a staff cameraman for
Rabkco and has done• film
editing for the past four years,
Miss Kristen Ebsen, who
plays the leading role, is
studying to be an actress and is
also a film editor's assistant
with Post Productions of
Toronto.
The film, which is to have its
premiere showing in Bayfield in
December, was shot on the sixth
concession of Goderich
Township on Picot's Hill.
Mr. Doug Allen in charge of
location production, said that
they were extremely pleased
with the co-operation of all
those who aided ar.d
participated in any way. Special
mention goes out to Westlake's
Ambulance Service, Zurich, the
three ambulance attendants,
Mr. Mozart Gelinas, Mr. Kenny
Westlake and Mr. Jim
McW hinney, all of Zurich; Mr.
Ron de Jong and the de Jong
Farms; the Clinton Police
Department for the use of their
fire truck and Mr. Les Elliott
and Mr. Don Warner, Hayfield
volunteer firemen; to Mr. Glen
Price, owner of Clere-Vu Auto
Wreckers for used car parts; to
Mr. Ross Middleton, who
produced the "rain" necessary
for part of the filming, and to
all the Bayfield and area
residents who provided the
necessary crowd gathered at the
mock accident scene. Without

has been visiting for the past
month with her daughter, Mrs.
Helen Fraser.

spent the past week with his
mother, Mrs. Margaret Furter.
Mr. Stewart Atkinson, St.
Clair Shores, Michigan, was in
the village during the weekend.

on the birth of a son on August
17 in Clinton Public Hospital

of Clinton (former resident) on
the birth of a son on August 18
in a London hospital.

lumber camp in Northern B,C,
by plane Thursday.

in Toronto after spending the
