Constance people are tripping

Visitors through the week with
Mr. and Mrs, leg Lawson, John
and Elizabeth were Misses Lina
and Vera Douglas of Strasberg,
Sask., and Mrs. Gladys Wallis of
Clinton
Mrs, Ella Jewitt attended the
Dillon-Preszcator wedding held
on Friday June 30th in
Londesboro,
Joan Thompson spent a few
days the past week with her cousin
Brenda Scott.
Vicki Powell of Auburn spent
the past week of holidays with her
friend Betty Buchanan.
Miss Evelyn McMichael of
Goderich spent the Weekend with
Mr. and Mrs, William Dale and
Cheryl. They all attended the
McMichael family gathering held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert McMichael of Walton.
Mrs. Robert Woods, Debbie and
Michele returned home on Friday
to Gananoque after spending the
past week with her parents Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Riley.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cook of
Sarnia and Mr. Bruce Johnston of
Grand Valley were weekend
visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Medd and Kerri,
Mr. and Mrs, Jerry Riehl,
Jackie, Kim and Shelley of Huron
Park spent the weekend with Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Riley and family.
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Ken Preszcator,. Dianne and
Nancy were Mr. and Mrs. Larry
Dillon of Clinton; Mr. and Mrs,
David Preszcator, Christine,
Lisa and Christopher.

Mary and daughter who have just
returned from Germany were
Sunday visitors with Mr, and Mrs.
Project Canada, Ontario's
nationwide school twinning
program, should move into the
classrooms of Canada in
September, Education Minister
Thomas Wells said recently.
The program, coordinated by
the Ontario Ministry of
Education, will link the
classrooms of Ontario schools
with those ill the other nine
provinces and two northern
territories.
Students participating in the
program will exchange
correspondence, photographs,
class projects which reflect local
history, geography,

this week in Stratford,
Mr. Wells said the program iS
aimed at promoting national
understanding by enabling,
Canadian youth to develop
friendships and echange
information which reflects their
cultural heritage. He said he
believed the Project Canada will
add real impetus to Canadian
studies,
Each ministry of education in
Canada has appointed a liaison
officer to work with the Ontario
Ministry's educational exchange
branch in developing the
program. The provincial liaison
officers will begin distributing
registration forms to the schools
in September.
