Public school finals
Seaforth swept the
championships in inter public
school softball held recently at
the Clinton Public School.
•They won both the boys'
division and the girls' division,
both by convincing scores.
Clinton Public School won the
boys' consolation final, while
Colborne took home the girls'
consolation title.
In the championships, Seaforth
beat Clinton Christian 13-4 in
the boys' division, while in the
girls' championship, Seaforth
trounced Clinton Public 46-2.
Clinton boys took the
consolation title with a 15-6
triumph over Huron Centennial.
Colborne was consolation girls'
champions by way of a 26-6 win
over Blyth.
In all, 16 teams participated in
the tournament,

against their opponents last
Monday.
The Teachers were given a
close game by the oncoming Colts
who have won once and came close
twice in their last three games. At
the end of the game it was the
Teachers holding a 9-7 edge.
The Bluebirds rallied through''

Kinsmen to mass 20 runs against
a far-away 6 for the Kinsmen,
Next week at 6:30 p.m. the
Teachers play the Kinsmen and
the late game at 8;30 p.m. sees the
Bluebirds up against the Colts.
