Ken Reidy, seniorbasketball coach presents the most'valuable player award for basketball to Pete
Cameron. It was the second year in a row Pete had taken the award,
Bruce Bartliff hands Mary Lynn Merrill her award as most valuable player on the senior basketball
team.

Practices for Goderich and
Clinton track and field have been
revised.
Bob Knuckey, track and field
co-ordinator, has scheduled
practices for Mondays and
Fridays at the Goderich District
Collegiate Institute track from
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
practice will be held at the Clinton
track from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Every Wednesday twilight
meets will be held in Goderich,
Clinton and BruSsels on a rotating
basis starting at 7:00 p.m. and
ending at 9:00 p.m.
The twilight meet to be held on
Wednesday, June 28 will be in
Goderich. The three events will
be the discus, the 880 yard run,
and the triple jump.
Winners of the June 14 twilight
meet in the 100 yard dash in
winning order, boys 12 and under
category are: Ian Gibb, and Scott
Wheeler, girls 12 and under: Barb
Lawson, and Dianne Stevenson.
girls 14 and under: Lori Keller,
and Colleen Raymond; boys 14 and
under: Stephen Crew, and Mark
Bellinger; boys aged 16 and
under: Andy Adams, and Keith

TRAIN IN U.S.
FOR GUIDE DOGS
Blind Canadians who qualify for
guide dogs, train in the United
States. The Canadian National
Institute for the Blind provides
free or at a low cost a one month's
training course at Seeing Eye
Incorporated, Morristown, New
Jersey or Guide Dogs For the
Blind, San Rafael, California.
The applicant must be between
16 and 55 and physically and
mentally fit. He or she must be
able to provide suitable
accommodation for the dog and be
prepared to walk it daily for
exercise.
There are 75 dog guide users in
Canada.
