called for lack of time. The score
was a 5-5 tie and possibly to be
resumed in the fall. The pitcher
for the teachers was Mr. Weber
and for the students it was Sandra
Graham who was later replaced'

Huron-Perth baseball " league.
This was the Colts second win this
year to go along' with their one

Angels by a score of 11-9. Larry
Pickett took the pitching decision

On Sunday, it was Stu again to

bases-loaded jam in Exeter's fifth
inning. Stu gained credit for the
pitching victory as Clinton scored

with a modern translation of the
New Testament, The six new
members of Session that were
inducted on May 28, John Merrill,
Victor Taylor, Kenneth Flett,
Harry Perry, Robert Lawson and
George Colclough; Harvey
Johnson, the Clerk, and the other
Members of the Session assisted
with the presentations, and the
Lord's Supper which followed.
The right hand of fellowship was
extended by the minister and
session.
The choir sang "Have Mercy
Upon Me" and the sermon topic
was "Basic Christianity Today".

Collins.
Clinton's next home game will
be at 8:00 Saturday evening. Come

Teachers lead
town league
The teachers have made it two
in a row, The Colts fell to defeat
being beaten soundly 13.2,
The Colts have dropped two in a
row leaving them in last place.
Tom Fox went the distance for the
Teachers as the winner and Don
Freeman, the loser, went all
seven for the Colts,
The Bluebirds came out on top
15-3 over the Kinsmen. The
Bluebirds played well throughout
the game, hitting the ball well and
fielding well. Walter Whitehead
had good control the entire game
which proved enough to crown him
the victor.

girls start
season
On Thursday, June 8 at 6:30, the
Clinton Girls Juvenile Softball
team start their season with a
home game against Brodhagen.
On Sunday, June 11, Tavistock
visits Clinton for the second
game.
The team has two new coaches
this year, Mrs. Diane (Carter)

Girls softball program underway
The Kinettes Junior and Senior
girls' softball leagues are now
under way,
. In the senior division, team
four leads with two wins and a tie
for five points while team one has
a win and two ties for four points,
team three has a win, a tie and a
loss for three points and team two
has yet to win.
In the junior division, team
three has a perfect record with
three wins and no losses for' six
points while team one has two
wins and a loss for four points
while team one has two Wins and a
loss for four points and team four
has a win and two losses for two
points. Team two has yet to win a
game.

Webster. There were 29 calls
made to the sick and shut-ins
during the month of May. Plans
were made to hold a bake sale on
August 19 in Bayfield. A donation
is being given to the Mentally
Retarded Association.
The meeting was closed by
prayer by Mrs. Roy Elliott. Lunch
was served by hostesses Mrs.

Steve Switzer went out the first
inning to show Lochaish exactly
who the boss was. He struck out
the side in the first inning and
stayed to pitch no hit ball for three
innings after.
Don MacDonald took over the
pitching duties and gave up one hit
to finish the game. Clinton's bats
were hot. They had 24 hits to mass
37 runs to utterly humiliate the
new expansion team,
