Letter
Continued from Page 4,
Christendom is ample evidence of
the truthfulness of the writer of
Revelation, who said that Satan,
the Devil "has deceived the whole
world"; and his purpose is to
bring reproach on God and Christ.
True Christians, who know
these facts, turn away in disgust
from such foolish paganism even.
if the ignorant and uninformed
claim that such practice honors
God and commemorates the
resurrection of His beloved Son.

Dental offices
change
Dentists probably suffer more
backaches, leg cramps and fallen
arches than most other
professionals in Canada,
The next time you visit your
dentist you might find out that he
has done something to combat his
"occnpational hazards".
Many dentists today are turning
to the use of inter-related work
stations arranged in an open
operational setting. Modular
units which bring the dentist's
equipment and lab facilities
within comfortable reach of both
the dentist and his assistant are
set up. The dentist works on one
side of the patient, his instrument
tray out of the patient's sight but
well within easy reach, The
assistant works on the other side
with immediate access to a make
ready and sterilizing station, a
dark room and a laboratory, The
patient, in the middle of the work
station sits in an inviting,
comfortable and stylish chair.
After hundreds of years of
standing the dentist now has a
choice between standing and
sitting, working on an upright or a
reclined patient, and being able to
work with an effective assistant.
Changes in dentistry-changes
with you in mind.-Canadian
Dental Association
The combination of electricity
and water in the bathroom can be
as deadly as the mixture of
alcohol and gasoline on the road,
warns the Ontario Safety League.

prevention of bacteria forming in
and around teeth, the number of
visits to a dentist for treatment of
cavities will be greatly
reduced.-Canadian Dental

special guest speaker Rev.
William Chan, of Thedford, who
spoke on declining Church
attendance on Sunday's as well as
in Church groups. He said the real
problem is the unbelief of the
Christian; after all the money is
used up on sports such as bingo
and other enterprizes of the
Community, no one is willing to
fulfill their part, with being too
occupied with other things.
What is the total expense left
for our Lord? If you do believe in
him, have him present with us at
all times, in our lives, our Church
etc. Mrs. Agnes Madge thanked
Rev. Chan for the inspiring
Easter message that he brought to

Mrs. Myrtle Orr, and Mrs. Emma

There are three key locations
where bacteria, responsible for
tooth decay tend to accumulate; in
the pits and fissures on the tops of
the teeth, on the sides of the teeth
and between the teeth. If an
effective job of disorganizing the
bacteria in these three places is
carried out the major battle
against tooth decay will he well on
its way towards being won.
The toothbrush, used in the
proper fashion will clean up most
of the cavity sites to be found in
the tops of the teeth, although
because some of the fissures in
these areas are just too small for
a toothbrush bristle to get into and
clean, treatment is often
unavoidable in spite of the efforts
put forward.
Bacterial colonies which
originate around the four sides of
the teeth can effectively lie
disorganized by the use of a
toothbrush used in an acceptable
manner, The critical area to
clean is where the tooth meets the
gum. A soft or medium brush is
recommended-not a hard
toothbrush which might possibly
abrade the teeth. Avoid any
abrasive toothpastes.
As about 50 ner cent of all
preventable caAty-sites are
between the teeth and most of all
the gum diseases seem to
originate there, the use of dental
