Central Huron beehive q sports .activity
One can get into some weird predicaments in wrestling as these two
wrestlers show during a match at Central Huron Secondary School
in Clinton last Thursday. The matches were Ewatched by a large
enthusiastic audience from the student body.
Down and almost out is the situation for this Listowel wrestler as mat sufficiently kr a pin. Deppite success in matches such as this,
the referee checks to see if his Cl inton opponent has held him on the Clinton lost a narrow two point margin.

As 'Robbie Burns said the best plans of men oft gong astray and so
it happened with our bonspiel planned for Saturday. Mother Nature
stepped in and forced the committee to cancel it because of road
conditions. It takes planning to cater to an event of this considerable
size and must be done in advance of the day. We sympathize with
the concerned committees as it must be a great disappointment to
them.
It was a busy Sunday for our Club with two rinks playing out of
town OCA honours.

Cornish, and Herb Travis came up against Listowel in the first game
taking it by 9.4. In the second game against Harristort, they ware
down two coming home and were able to pick up three in the lest
end giving them two wins. In their third game, however, coming up
against Mt. Forest on their own ice it was a close battle, Mt. Forest
Came up with the win 8,r7 to eliminate Seaforth. But that is the way
it is with Curling. It's so final and you must Wait for another year.
