What does tax reform mean to you? How will
it affect you?

payers as quickly, as they come off the press.
The .complete mailing will be finished in about
five weeks.
All taxpayers will receive at least two booklets—

These should provide answers to most of your
questions.
Some taxpayers will receive additional informa-

Peewees win and tie
in league play; lose
at Watford tournament
BY BEET CLIFFORD
Clinton Mustangs were
bombed by Mitchell 12,3 on
Tuesday night to continue a
nosedive that has dropped them
out of first place.
Clinton played with only 10
players and had only one
penalty in the game. Ron
Graham scored twice and Bill
Stirling once. Paul Johnson had
three assists.
It was the third consecutive
loss for the Mustangs who were
in the thick of the fight for first
place only a week ago but are
now in third.

Bantams lose
to Mitchell
During the past week the
Bantams were busy playing
Mitchell Monday and losing 5-2.
On Wednesday the boys ran
up their biggest score of the
season, 10-2 over Seaforth, but
on Saturday the unpredictable
side of hockey showed up as
Seaforth came from behind a 3-1
score to beat Clinton 5-3.
On Sunday in Watford in the
second round of the Bantam C
play, Clinton Lost 3-2 to
Lambeth in an excellent game.
The teams were as even as the
score would indicate and with
six attackers for the last minute,
Clinton forced the play
unsuccessfully. The Lambeth ,
goalie smothered shots three
times in the last 20 seconds.
In 11 league games the Fish.
and Game Bantams have a
record of six wins, four losses
and one tie, having scored 51
goals while allowing 33.
In 10 other games, including
pre-season, Clinton N.Y.,
Kincardine and Watford
tournaments, they have seven
wins and three losses, scoring 54
goals while allowing 26.
Overall, in 21 games they
have a creditable record of
13.7-1 with 105 goals scored and
59 against.
They have never been shut
out and have never allowed more
than five goals in a game. The
team is made up of the
following: goaltenders, Dean
Ryan, Robert Harkes, Don
Peterson; defence, Bill Irwin,
John Graham, Paul Garrow,
Gerald Cantelon, Dave Clynick,
Dave Archibald and John
Feeney; forwards, James
Thompson, Robin McAdam,
Steve Cook, Greg Butler, Greg
Holmes, Neil Colquhoun, Mike
Gibbings, Paul Priestap, Dave
Counter, Brian Miller and Derek
Connor,
The scoring so far this season
has been well distributed
amongst the forward lines with
good offensive assistance from
the defence. The work of the
defence and the goaltenders had
been excellent as a fewer than
three-goals-against per game
record indicates.
This Thursday Zurich will be
here for an 8 p.m. game and on
Saturday at 7:15 Goderich

Rob McAdam hit for five
goals — the most by any one
player this Season in one game.
On Monday, Jan. 3, Mitchell
maintained its mastery over the
Bantams defeating them 5-2. In

Bantams have salvaged only one

that when they meet Mitchell
for the final time later in
January.

Lucan.
In Lambeth, with several
players missing, the Mustangs
surprised themselves by building
up a 3.2 lead at the end of the
first period. Bill Stirling, who
has been flying lately, set up
Ron Graham for an early goal.
Lambeth came back with two
quick goals at 11:10 and 13:35.
Then Stirling was set up
beautifully by Stu Mustard and
Bill Crawford to tie the score.
At 16:14 Wayne McDougall
fired a beautiful wrist shot. The
two teams battled even-steven
for nearly 16 minutes of the
second period before Lambeth
scored a lucky one on Fred
German. German had just kicked
out three hot ones when a
clearing shot hit the inside of his
skate and bounced into the net.
Clinton went ahead again on
a nice goal by Paul Johnson, set
up by defencemen Jim Cameron

the forwards were too much for
the local team and they took
their first loss in league play
being on the short end of a 5-2
count.
On December 18, Hensall

In Mitchell, Dec. 27, partial

Stick Tournament. Ridgetown
bad previously put South
London out in an overtime game
by a 4 3 score, and advanced
further by beating Clinton .3 - 0,
The Clinton team was weak
on defence, with one boy sick
and Richard Carter playing when
he was still supposed to be in
bed. By shifting forwards onto
defence for double shifts and a
little re-shuffling, coach Carter
came up with a very good game.
The team appreciates the
support that the parents gave to
this game by so many driving
down to Watford at 7:00 on a
Sunday morning.
PEE WEE HOUSE LEAGUE
The Canadiens and the
Rangers had the first game on
Saturday, with the Rangers
