East Wawanosh drops hints about what they want
We asked the East Wawanosh
Public School Grade 1/2 class...
What would you like for
Christmas?
“I want a Zoo Zoo Pet! It’s like a
hampster with a button that you push
that makes it wheel around and
makes sound, and I want a Pet-Me
Cat that I can pet and have it do
stuff.”
Mia
“I want a Lego fire station I’ve
seen it on TV and it comes with a
kitten and a stretch-net. I also want a
blue Lego airplane, because it’s
smaller than the red one.”
Taylor
“I want a remote control
helicopter because my other one
broke and a computer so I can type
stuff.”
Anthony
“I want a Littlest Pet Shop kit
because I only have two and you can
get like six.”
Olivia
“I want a Barbie airplane so I can
pretend my Barbies are in an
airplane going to Goderich from the
North Pole.”
Liz
“I would like an iPod, a Swim-to-
me Puppy, some fashion clothes,
some books, some Wii games, some
Zooballs and Squinkies.”
Mia
“I want a Barbie tent because I’m
a big fan of Barbies and my aunt
used to be too.”
Emily
“I would like a sled like a scooter
that runs on snow and can go down
the hill and I want a fighting Wii
game and a soccer ball.”
Simon
“I want a wheeled hockey bag, a
new hockey stick, a BB gun, a new
toy tractor, a new Wii game and a
new toy dual tractor.”
Troy
“I want a doll that talks because I
really like dolls.
Ellen
“I want an mp3 player because my
dad has one that he doesn’t let us use
so I want one of my own, and I want
a Nintendo DSi because my sister
has one and she wants someone to
play one of her games with.”
Caleigh
“I want John Deere tractors for
Christmas. I want a planter and agrainer. I want a grain bin and a new
John Deere plow because the hook
on mine broke.”
Ben
“I want an mp3 player so I can
listen to songs and learn how to spell
them. I want to listen to a lot of rock
music.”
Brody
“I want a remote control
Transformer and a remote control
helicopter that can take pictures of
people doing things so I can spy on
them.”
Tim
“I want a toy dirt bike and a toy spaceship that’s red and
white.”
Deegan
“I want a Nintendo DSi and an
iPod, but it’s my birthday today,
so I might get them now. If I do,
I hope I get another pink ball
and a purple hula-hoop for
Christmas.”
Makayla
“I want an iPod to play with and
my own big room to myself.”

'O Come All Ye Faithful
Guided only by a single star
Three wise men journeyed afar
To the manger where the infant lay
On that very first Christmas Day.
May your spirits be lifted and your faith renewed
as we recall the miracle of Christmas.
From your friends at the
