BRUSSELS BUSINESS GROUP.
Many volunteer elves arrived in
Brussels this past week to put up
lights downtown, help Santa move in
his sleigh, decorate two town trees
with lights, decorate the arena, and
help promote our special town.
These elves work many long hours
at the north pole workshop and still
manage to get the extras done on
time. We hear they may have even
worked in a surprise 40th birthday
party as well. Saturday night the
elves pushed everyone to be a part of
our favourite tradition – Santa’s
parade in Brussels. What a
tremendous accomplishment – the
parade was a huge success. The
elves had extra special help from the
fire department as well. Thanks
elves!! See you next year. 47-1

HASTINGS. Thanks to all my
family, friends, firefighters and co-
workers for the great surprise 40th
birthday party on Friday night at the
Legion. Thanks to everyone who
helped Dawn and the girls to set it up
and to keep it a surprise, good to see
everyone again. Thank you to my
wife Dawn and my girls for all their
hard work with the whole thing.
Good times, you got me good! –
Donald. 47-1

special thanks to Leslie Cook for all
his prayers and support. Thanks to
Brussels Legion for the luncheon
following the funeral service. Many
thanks to the nurses and doctor who
took such good care of Bob while he
was in hospital. Thanks to
