Bluevale farm wins big at Royal Winter Fair Shayrina Sheep Farm of the Bluevale area dominated the Market Lamb Auction at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, bringing in more than a dozen top-five sales, fielding the single market lamb reserve Champion and receiving the James C. Bell Memorial Trophy for the highest-valued Pen of 3 sheep. On Tuesday fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market. Choice steers and heifers sold $91 to $93 with sales to $93.75. Second cut sold $89 to $91. Cows sold on a good strong active trade at prices $2 higher. On Thursday veal sold on a good strong active market at steady prices. Due to the Muslim holiday, lambs and sheeps sold on a very strong active trade. Goats sold fully steady. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a strong active trade. There were 101 steers on offer.
