DUFF’S UNITED CHURCH
Members attending Duff’s United
Church were greeted by Jackie and
Melissa Glanville on Stewardship
Sunday.
The service began with the
unexpected event of the loss of
hydro to the church. Rev. Peter did
a good job of speaking loudly to
everyone. The group was also
welcomed by the beautiful
Christmas decorations adorning the
sanctuary.
The McDonald family including
Jo-Ann, LeeAnn, Kelly and fiancé
Adam volunteered to decorate the
Church for Christmas and Kelly’s
upcoming wedding.
Phyllis Mitchell played the violin
along with Glenda Morrison at the
piano for the service. Shelley
McGavin presented the Minute for
Missions and read the scripture
readings. The offering was taken by
Teresa Baan and Jackie Glanville.
Breakfast was to be held following
the service but the lack of power
disrupted that event. Everyone
enjoyed muffins, juice and fruit
instead.
Announcements included Kelly
McDonald’s community shower at
8 p.m. (note time change) on Friday
evening, Nov. 19, coffee after

Christmas dinner, Fashion Show
and entertainment on Dec. 1. Call
