2-0 lead at half time.
Blyth’s first game of the
tournament was against Wingham

of a penalty shot when Greg

half. JanPaul VanDorp scored a nice
goal with an assist from Derek

these teams met the game ended in a

the night. Defender Murray Dale
sent the ball up the field and

lead at half time. Roetcisoender

half.

amazing goal on a corner kick to
lead off the second half for his team.
Blyth went on to score one other

Blyth. Blyth showed some nice ball
control and real team work to
control this game. This win earned
Blyth three points.
Blyth played a stronger second
half and showed some great ball
control and team work. Geddes sent
the ball toward the net and Nonkes
sent the ball into the net to score.
Blyth had several more scoring
opportunities but Clinton’s keeper,
Jimmy Watt shut them down. Blyth
made some unfortunate errors
toward the last part of the game and
the two goals Clinton scored were
both earned on a penalty shot. The
final score was a 4-1 win for
Clinton, a heartbreaking loss for
Blyth.

tournament, Blyth earned the spot as
second in their pool . There were
eight teams in this U16 tournament.

heading on Blyth was denied any
further play in the tournament.

tournament against Goderich with a
score of 2-0.

pleased with the team work and
efforts and improvements Blyth
showed over the season. Blyth
