By Jo-Ann McDonald It has been a great summer break for two weeks at the Brussels Legion Branch 218 and now the many events of August begin. We are pleased to report that Comrade Adam Smith is home from hospital and is coming along nicely. Comrade Gord Jacklin is a patient in Seaforth Hospital recovering from hip surgery. We wish him the best in his recovery. Comrade Harold Bridge has also been in hospital but is home again. We wish him the best with his health issues. There is plenty going on for the Branch in August, so Comrades can expect the call. There are three banquets and two fish fry events that require help. The last two Saturdays in August are busy.
