Ben is the son of Paul and Jacquie Gowing of RR2 Bluevale.
He will be attending The University of Western Ontario to
study Civil Engineering.
JULIA ANNE HUSNIK
The daughter of Robert and Donna Husnik of Bluevale is
an Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill Secondary School. Julia
is planning on attending Fanshawe College to study Pre-
Health.
KESHA LYNN JAMIESON-JOHNSTON
Kesha is the daughter of Connie Johnston of Brussels. This
Ontario Scholar is a F.E. Madill Secondary School graduate
who will begin studying at Seneca Collge to become
Building Systems Engineering Technician.
THOMAS PAUL JOHNSTON
An F.E. Madill Secondary School Ontario Scholar,
Thomas is heading to Fanshawe College to study to become
a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. Thomas is the son
of Paul and Joyce Johnston of RR2 Bluevale.
ANDREW PHILLIP LINDSAY
Ontario Scholar Andrew is the son of Bruce and Bonnie
Lindsay of Brussels. In the fall, this F.E. Madill Secondary
School graduate will head to the University of Western
Ontario to study Civil Engineering.
COLE GREGORY MCLEAN
Cole will be going to Fanshawe College to study
Construction Engineering Technology in the fall. This F.E.
Madill Secondary School graduate is an Ontario Scholar and
son of Pamela and Keith McLean of RR3 Brussels.
KAYTEE KARENE RICHMOND
Kaytee is the daughter of John and Susan Richmond of
RR2 Bluevale. An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill
Secondary School, Kaytee will be attending the University
of Waterloo in the fall for Social Development Studies.
TRAVIS COLE ROETCISOENDER
An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill Secondary School,
Travis is the son of Albert and Margaret Roetcisoender of
Brussels. He will be attending Seneca College to study
Computer Programming.
CAMERON LAWRENCE SCHLOSSER
The son of Brian and Rozalynn Schlosser in RR2 Bluevale
is an Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill Secondary School.
Cameron is planning on seeking an apprenticeship in
carpentry.
URSINA BIANCA STUDHALTERUrsina is the daughter of Josef and Susanne Studhalter of
RR2 Blyth. This Ontario Scholar is a F.E. Madill Secondary
School graduate who will begin studying Agriculture
Business at the University of Guelph in the fall.
JEANINE DIANE VAN CAMP
An F.E. Madill Secondary School Ontario Scholar, Jeanine
is heading to Fanshawe College to study General Arts.
Jeanine is the daughter of Joel and Julie Van Camp of
Belgrave.
MAAIKE ELISABETH JENNEKE VANHITTERSUM
Ontario Scholar Maaike is the daughter of Tonnie and
Anita VanHittersum of RR3 Blyth. In the fall, this F.E.
Madill Secondary School graduate will head to Wilfrid
Laurier University to study Business Administration.
ANDREW CARSON WATSON
Andrew, an F.E. Madill Secondary School graduate and
Ontario Scholar will be returning to F.E. Madill for a fifth
year. Andrew is the son of Michael and Valerie Watson of
RR4 Brussels.

kindergarten schools is the next step
toward the full implementation of
the program by 2015-16. Local
schools that will begin offering the
program in 2011 are: Goderich
Public School, Hillcrest Central
School in Teeswater and St. Mary’s
Catholic School in Goderich.
In total, 10 local schools will offer
the program in 2011. There are
already seven local schools selected
for the first year of full-day
kindergarten that starts this
September, including Clinton Public
School, Howick Central School,
G.C. Huston Public School,
Kincardine Township-Tiverton
Public School, Lucknow Central
Public School, Mildmay-Carrick
Central School and St. Joseph’s
Catholic School,
Carol Mitchell, Huron-Bruce MPP
is looking forward to celebrating the
launch of full-day kindergarten in
Huron-Bruce with local school
boards and students this falls.
“I’m excited that our government
is moving forward with the
implementation of this innovative
program. Full-day kindergarten will
give Huron-Bruce children a
stronger start on their learning and is
the next step in Ontario’s plan to
improve education, create a stronger
school system and build a well-
educated workforce,” she said.
