GLORIA ELIZABETH DOWGloria Elizabeth Dow of RR 3,
Wingham, passed away at London
Health Sciences Centre on Thursday,
June 17, 2010. She was 71.
The former Gloria Stobo was the
beloved wife of Donald Dow and
dear mother of Stephen and Lara
Dow of Embro; Cathy Goetz and
Brian White, RR 5, Brussels;
Maryon and Brad English, Beeton;
and Dawn and Jamie Kewell, St.
Catharines and loving grandmother
of Grace, Connor, Curtis, Kane,
Brooke, Erica, Tyler, Jayden and
Kaleb.
She was the sister of Lloye
Wathke and family of Desboro and
Donald and Elizabeth Stobo and
family of Teeswater and sister-in-
law of Donna Stobo and family of
Teeswater and Florence Robertson
of Hanover. She was predeceased
by her sister Colleen Robertson and
brother David Stobo.
Visitation was held at McBurney
Funeral Home in Wingham on
Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral service
was held at Wingham United
Church on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
Rev. Tom Murray officiated.
Interment was in Wingham
Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the charity
of choice is appreciated as

WHEELER
William John (Weiler) Wheeler of
Midland, and formerly of Fordwich,passed away at Georgian Bay
General Hospital, Penetanguishene
on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Born in
Fordwich, Bill was in his 77th year.
He was the beloved husband of
the late Marie Talman (2001) and
the dear father of Larry and Jacqui
Weiler of Blyth, Ron and Mary
Weiler of Wroxeter, Christopher
Weiler of Camphill and Debra
Weiler of Orangeville.
He was the dear brother of Art and
Mary Weiler of Midland and
Douglas and Nancy Watson of
Campbellford.
He was also loved by his
grandchildren John, Lawrence,
Jack, Camilla, Benjamin, RJ,
Samantha, Jay and Allison. He was
predeceased by his son Edward,
sisters Charlotte Embury, Lorene
Robinson, Marjorie Lawrence and
Bernice Harper, his brother Nelson,
parents Oscar and Jennifer and
stepfather Harold.
Friends will be received by the
family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 28
at Gorrie Bible Fellowship at Gorrie
Bible Fellowship, 87917 Gorrie
Line, Gorrie, where the funeral
service will be conducted on
Tuesday, June 29 at 2 p.m.
Cremation to follow with interment
in Donegal Cemetery.

RAY ALTON ULCH
Ray Alton Ulch Sr. of Dungannon
passed away after a brief illness, on
Tuesday, June 15, 2010. He was in
his 72nd year.
He was the beloved husband of
Renate Ulch, loving father of Roger
Ulch of London, Ray Ulch Jr. of
Dungannon, Ron Ulch of Clinton,
Cindy (Barry) MacDonald of Blyth
and father-in-law of Shelley of
Essex and Gail of Goderich.
Ray was the grandfather of Sheril,
Rick, Jess, Cassandra, Katrina,
Josie, Jennifer and great-grandfather
of Madison and Chase.
He was the son of Josie McCann
of Clinton and brother of Joanne
(Mac) of Maidstone, Carol (Don) of
Londesborough, Shirley (Ab) of St.
Thomas, Deb (Garry) of Cottam,
Jack (Theresa) of Windsor, and
Doreen of Grand Bend. He was the
son-in-law of Edith Arndt of
Detroit.
He was predeceased by grandson
Karl, brother Karl and father Ray
and best friend and pal Jack.
The family received friends at the
McCallum and Palla Funeral Home,in Goderich on Friday from 2 p.m.
to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at
the funeral home on Saturday, June
19 at 2 p.m. Pastor Les Cook
officiated.
Interment was at Iler Cemetery
(Essex County) on Monday, June
21.
Pallbearers were Don Plant,
David Plant, Ab Birch, Chris
McCann, Shawn McCann and
flowerbearers were Josh Garrant
and Jeremy Garrant.

He was the cherished grandfather
