Obituaries GORDON WESLEYBRADSHAWMr. Gordon Wesley Bradshaw ofListowel passed away at ListowelMemorial Hospital on Thursday,
June 10, 2010. He was in his 81st
year.
He was the beloved husband of
Geraldine (Stretton) Bradshaw, dear
father of Bob and Patti Bradshaw of
Wroxeter and Murray Bradshaw and
Susan Wilson of Lucan and grand-
father of Kelly and Jeff Payne of
Gorrie, Jacqueline Bradshaw, and
Christine Bradshaw, both of
Sebringville and Emma Brock of
Listowel. He was also the great-
grandfather of Katie, Matthew, and
Anna.
Gordon was the brother of Harvey
and Betty Bradshaw of Wroxeter,
Mary and Hugh Campbell of
Wingham, and Viola Adams and
Allan Edgar of Brussels, and
brother-in-law of Frank and Mary
Stretton of Brussels.
He was predeceased by his parents
Russell and Mae (Grasby)Bradshaw.
Visitation was held at the Eaton
Funeral Home, Listowel, on
Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
where the funeral service was later
held on Sunday, June 13. Interment
is in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Mrs. Edythe Margaret Coultes of
Wingham passed away at HuronleaHome for the Aged in Brussels onSaturday, June 12, 2010. She was 89.She was the former EdytheArbuckle and the beloved wife of the
late James R. Coultes who
predeceased her in 1988.
Edythe was the dear mother of
Brenda Collins and Patrick
O’Connor of Thamesford and Bryan
and Yvonne Coultes of East
Wawanosh Township and mother-in-
law of Anne Coultes of Wingham.
She was the sister of Gertrude
Reavie and sister-in-law of Isobel
Arbuckle, both of Wingham.
She is lovingly remembered by
five grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her
parents William and Margaret
(Robertson) Arbuckle, her son
Wayne Coultes, her grandson
Shayne Collins, her sister Jessie
Kerr and her brothers Robert, Elmer
and Dan Arbuckle.
Visitation was held at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham on
Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral
service was held at the funeral home
chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Interment was in Wingham
Cemetery, Wingham.

Mrs. Cornelia (Corrie) Adriana
Dykstra of Braemar Retirement
Centre passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Wednesday,June 9, 2010. She was 81.She was the beloved mother ofAdrian Dykstra of Southampton,Corrie and Ken Bradley of Ripley,
John Dykstra of Aylmer and
Brenda Dykstra and Jim Brown of
Neustadt and dear grandmother of
Chad, Ashley, Ricky and great-
grandmother of Lauren and
Michaela.
She is also survived by one sister
and one brother in Holland. She was
predeceased by one sister.
The funeral service was held at
Brussels Mennonite Fellowship
June 14 at 11 a.m. Pastor Brent
Kipfer officiated. Interment is in
Brussels Cemetery, Morris
Township.

THOMAS WILLIAM PLETCH
Thomas William Pletch of
Brussels passed away at Huronlea
Home for the Aged on Sunday, June
13, 2010. Born in Culross Township
on January 4, 1932, Tom was in his
79th year.
Tom farmed on the 4th Line of
Morris Township for several years
before working in construction for
many years with Seegmillers, Huron
County, Mowbray, Fowlers and
Looby’s Construction.
Tom was the beloved husband of
60 years to Edna (Higgins) Pletch.
He was the cherished father of
Karen Cronin and her husband Jim
of Seaforth, Don Pletch and his wifeConnie of Lucan, Bonnie Hogan andher husband Jim of Lucknow andSteve Pletch and his wife Barb ofCalgary. He was the proud
grandfather of 13 grandchildren and
13 great-grandchildren.
He was also loved by his sister
Hilda Shilliday of Victoria, British
Columbia. He was predeceased by
his parents Herb and Annie, his
brothers Sam, George, Ernie,
Wallace, Steven and his sisters
Llewella, Gladys, Irene, Anne and
Laura.
Friends were received by the
family from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m.
on Tuesday at the Schimanski
Family Funeral Home.
The funeral service was conducted
on Wednesday, June 16 at 2 p.m. at
the Brussels United Church. Sandra
Cable officiated.
Carrying floral tributes were
granddaughters Sherry Hogan,
Amanda Pletch and Kari Cronin.
Pallbearers were Dan, Mike and
Keith Pletch, Bob Colvin, Gary
Cronin and Steve Hogan.
Interment was at the Brussels
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations may be made to
the Huronlea Auxiliary or a charity
of one’s choice.

Mrs. Muriel Alena (Heibein) Ward
of Listowel, and formerly of Grey
Township, passed away at Listowel
Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June
6, 2010 in her 84th year.She was the beloved wife of thelate Lawson Ward (December 2009)and dear mother of Larry Ward ofRR1, Ethel; Gerald and Ann Ward,
St. Marys; Kathy and Rick Nieman,
Kitchener; and Connie and Marvin
Gibbings, Listowel.
Muriel was the proud grandmother
of Leslie, Kim, Tony and Trish,
Sheri, Jeff and Lisa, Julie and Jay,
Jennifer and Gary, Matthew, Stacey
and Andrew, and Nicole and Chad
and proud great-grandmother of
Jamie, Page, Luke, Kendal, Ashton,
Brooklyn, Lucas, MacKenzie,
Shelby, Carter, Maddie, Jocelynn,
Leah, Cameron and Addison. She
was the dear sister of Clayton
Heibein of Thamesford, Nellie
Hamel of Ilderton and Jean and Bob
Coulter of Listowel, and sister-in-
law of Pearl Heibein, and Hilton and
Jane Ward, all of Listowel and Rene
Ward of Waterloo.
She was predeceased by her
parents Bert and Myrtle (Ward)
Heibein, her sons Brian and Keith,
her grandsons Joseph and Tim, her
daughters-in-law Deanna and
Barbara and her brother Bruce.
Visitation was held at the Eaton
Funeral Home in Listowel on June 8
from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. where
the funeral service was held June 9
at 11 a.m. with interment in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.

the Canadian Cancer Society would
be appreciated.
