AgricultureBrussels Livestock reportCows sell steady at Brussels Livestock Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending May 28 were 2,735 cattle, 809 lambs and goats. On Tuesday fed steers and heifers sold at $2 to $3 higher. Choice steers and heifers sold $94 to $96 with sales to $102.75. Second cut sold $90 to $94. Cows sold fully steady. On Thursday holstein veal calves sold $5 higher while beef veal calves sold $2 to $5 higher. Lambs, sheep and goats sold under pressure. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a steady market. There were 165 steers on offer.
