Total receipts for Brussels
Livestock for the week ending April
15 were 2,935 cattle, 690 lambs and
goats. On Tuesday fed steers and
heifers sold $1 to $2 higher. Choice
steers and heifers sold $91 to $93
with sales to $97. Second cut sold
$89 to $91. Cows sold steady. On
Thursday veal sold on a strong
active trade. Lambs, sheep and goats
all sold on a strong active trade. On
Friday calves and yearlings sold on
a steady market.
There were 270 steers on offer.
