Twelve members and 14 guests attended. The Walton Women’s Institute was invited as special guests. The guest speaker was Kathryn Alton B.Sc. OD. who works out of the Wingham and Palmerston Optometry Clinic. She spoke on eye health topics included cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Cataracts can be repaired through surgery.
