The second meeting of the GreyTwp. 4-H club was held on Saturday,Feb. 27 at the Cranbrook Hall. It wasa double meeting and ran from 9a.m. - noon. The “Shutter Bugs” was chosen asthe club name.
Members were to bring in
photographs that they printed in both
colour as well as black and white, so
that everyone could see their work.
Leader Monique Baan brought in a
flexi-leg tripod that can fit in your
pocket. She also brought in a normal
tripod. Then members got a chance tomake their own “string” tripods, outof a washer tied to a string, whichyou step on, and a bolt tied to theother end which screws into yourcamera.
Members then got to go out into
the streets of Cranbrook and see if
they could find any letters in their
environment to take pictures of.
Members then played a game of
“Lights, Camera, Action.”
In this game everyone except one
person has a seat and a name ofeither Lights or Camera. When the person without a chair calls either Lights or Camera, then those people run to find a new seat. If action is called, everyoneruns. To end the meeting Moniqueshowed the group a slide show thatwas made of the best pictures that were taken in a photography classshe was in, and memberscommented on what they had learned so far aboutwhat to look for in a picture.Grey Township 4-H now known as “Shutter Bugs”
