APPLEBY. There comes a time in
each one of our lives when we have
to say goodbye to our loved ones.
The family of the late Lloyd
Appleby would like to thank our
family, neighbours and friends for
their kindness, floral tributes, phone
calls, memorial donations, food and
sympathy cards. The thoughtfulness
shown by everyone truly was
overwhelming and very much
appreciated. Special thanks to Dr.
Hay, CCAC and Town and Country
Support Services for all the
wonderful care Lloyd has received
over the years. A special thank you
to Evelyn who meant so much to
Lloyd. Thank you to Christopher
Smith and the staff at Falconer
Funeral Homes for their
professionalism and guidance during
such a difficult time. Our sincere
appreciation to Rev. Gary Clark for
his support and for conducting such
a beautiful service in remembrance
of Lloyd. Thank you also to the
honorary pallbearers, George, Pal,
Roy and Greg and flower bearers
Alicia and Brittany. A special thank
you to John, Kevin, Alicia and
Brittany for the very special tributes
you gave in celebration of Lloyd’s
life. We are most grateful to the
Blyth United Church for the lovely
lunch following the funeral. To so
many others who gave us their
sympathy and support, your
kindness and friendship was
sincerely appreciated and will never
be forgotten. It is during a time like
this that we realize what our friends
and family really mean to us.
Sincerely – Lillian, Larry, Deb,
Alicia and Brittany Appleby, Lori
and Kevin Mastersen. 10-1p
MUTTER. The family of the late
George Mutter would like to thank
their many friends and neighbours
for each of the kind expressions of
sympathy received since the passing
of our father. For the phone calls,
cards, floral tributes and food
brought to our homes, we are
extremely grateful. For the memorial
donations made in Dad’s honour to
the Canadian Diabetic Association
and to the Huronlea Auxiliary, we
thank you. Thanks go as well to the
Schimanski Family Funeral Home
and to Rev. Don McCallum for your
guidance and support at this difficult
time, and to the Huronlea Auxiliary
for the delicious luncheon served
following the service. Special
thanks goes to the entire staff of
Huronlea where he had resided since
returning to Brussels in 2007. Your
exceptional care and compassion
shown for Dad were always evident,
your love and support truly made
Huronlea his home. We cannot thank
you enough. We have lost a special
friend, father, grandfather and great-
grandfather but take comfort in
knowing that he is now reunited with
the true love of his life. – Paul and
Barb, Karen and Ted, Harold and
Brenda and families. 10-1
