All members had different opinions of which apples were best based on taste and looks. Next Loretta Higgins and Charlene Schramm shared their minutes from meetings two and three. The club discussed name ideas and title pages. The name “Holiday Honeys” was decided and Reba made the title page. The group was then divided into three groups to make a little presentation on the first people in Canada, to celebrate Thankgiving. Some of these people were Martin Frobisher, an Englishnavigator, who was giving thanks forsurviving their long journey andSamuel de Champlain, a French explorer, who held a feast to share with his Indian neighbours. Eileen led the craft, a beaded napkin holder, which depending on the colours chosen, can be used for any holiday. Marita Oudshoorn and Reba helped members with the craft. When the crafts were finished, the members enjoyed their scarecrow pizza and apple pie. Vice-president, Sydney McIlhargey, closed the meeting with the motto.
