Feb. 2, 2010. She was 80.
Leona was the beloved wife of the
late John Oldfield who predeceased
her in 2005.
She was the loved mother of Brian
Oldfield of RR4, Seaforth and friend
Helen Southgate. She was the loving
grandmother of Andrew van Vliet of
RR1,Walton and dear mother-in-law
of John van Vliet and his wife Susan.
Leona will be fondly remembered by
their children, Connor, Shannon,
Kiaran and Ronan, all of RR2,
Brussels. She will be lovingly
remembered by her sister Donna
Mae Hinz of Stratford, and several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was
predeceased by her daughter Dianne
van Vliet in 2004, her parents Joseph
and Roma (Diegel) Smith, sisters
Kathleen Schwindt and Arbutus
MacLean and brothers-in-law Ervin
Schwindt, Ross MacLean, Ron Hinz
and Peter Van Herk.
The family received friends at the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home,
Seaforth on Thursday from 2 - 4 and
7 - 9 p.m.The funeral service was held at St.Thomas Anglican Church, Seaforthon Friday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. Rev.
Karine Farmer officiated.
Pallbearers were Andrew van
Vliet, John van Vliet, Rodney Hinz,
Ethan Hinz, Brad MacLean and
Bevin MacLean. Honorary
pallbearer was Bill O’Shea.
Flowerbearers were Loretta Yeo,
Jocelyn Hinz, Connor Jared,
Shannon Jared and Matt Southgate.
Spring interment will be in
Egmondville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to
Seaforth Community Hospital
Foundation, St. Thomas Anglican
Church, Canadian Cancer Society,
Canadian Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation or the charity of one’s
choice will be graciously accepted.

Miss Naomi H. Reesor of
Carthage (RR4, Listowel) passed
away peacefully with her family at
her side at Listowel Memorial
Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.
She was in her 74th year.
Miss Reesor was the sister ofEsther Armstrong of Molesworth,Annie and Robert Bauman ofFloradale, Ina Reesor of Carthage,
Margaret and Wayne Heatwole of
Saskatchewan, and Adeline and
Mervin Brubacher of Linwood. She
will be fondly remembered by her
nieces and nephews.
Naomi was predeceased by her
parents, Willis and Annie (Hoover)
Reesor, her brother Henry C. Reesor,
her brother-in-law James ‘Mac’
Armstrong and by her niece Grace
Heatwole.
Visitation was at the Eaton Funeral
Home, Listowel on Sunday from 2 -
4 p.m. and on Monday from 2 - 4
and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at
Crystal View Mennonite Church,
Floradale on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at
1:30 p.m. with Mark Brubacher
officiating.
Interment will be in Crystal
View Mennonite Cemetery,
Floradale.
Memorial donations to Christian
Aid Ministries would be

GARY ARNOLD VAN CAMPGary Van Camp of RR4, Brusselspassed away at Wingham andDistrict Hospital on Thursday, Feb.
4, 2010. He was 57.
He was the beloved husband of
Jane (Sanders) Van Camp. He was
the dear father of Gavin and Laura
Van Camp of RR4, Brussels, Becky
and Mike De Jonge of Crediton,
Colleen and Dave Inglis of Belmore
and Grayson Van Camp at home. He
was the loving grandfather of Wyatt,
Grant, Emmett and Avery. Gary was
the dear son of Glen Van Camp of
RR4, Brussels. He is also survived
by his sister Dianne and Len
Zevenbergen of Hepworth, father-in-
law Frank Sanders of Brussels and
by his Sanders sisters-and brothers-
in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Gary was predeceased by his
mother Verlaine (Stewart) Van Camp
in 2009.
Visitation was at the McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham, on Friday,
Feb. 5 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
funeral home chapel on Saturday at
2 p.m.
Spring interment will be in
Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.

sympathy.

It is a new year, and for the Grey
Twp. 4-H Club it is time to start up a
new project, The Art of Photography.
The first meeting was held at the
Cranbrook Hall, with 17 of 20
members present. It was a two-hour
meeting that began at 7 p.m.
The members got into partners and
found out some new facts about each
other. Then they introduced their
partner to the group. they learned
about the different parts of a camera,
and had a chance to find them
ourselves.
They had a competition to see how
many different types of photography,
and jobs that you need photography
to do. It was boys vs girls, and ended
in a tie. Both teams got chocolate
bars for prizes.
