REID. The family of the late Watson
Reid wishes to express our sincere
appreciation to relatives, friends and
neighbours for their support during
the recent loss of our father and
grandfather. Thank you so much for
your kind words and prayers, and for
the food brought to our homes, for
the visits, cards, flower tributes, on-
line condolences, and memorial
donations. Your generosity is greatly
appreciated. Special thanks to the
Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home and
to Ruth Townsend for their helpful
guidance and care. To Mary Fletcher
for her prayers, support and lovely
funeral service, we say thank you,
and to Carol Carter for her musical
accompaniment. Also, thank you to
the Northside United Church for
providing the luncheon after the
service. We also appreciate the
excellent care that Dad received at
the Seaforth Hospital. We are
fortunate to have such wonderful,
competent hospital staff in our
community. We would also like to
extend our thanks to the Seaforth
Manor Retirement Home for their
care during the short time that Dad
resided there. We will always
treasure your expressions of
sympathy and your support. – Dave

STE. MARIE. Aunt Doris, Bill and
family of the late Andrew Ste. Marie
would like to give a special thanks
first of all to the Peel brothers and
their wives and families for their
quick response, presence and snow
shovelling in order to allow the
ambulance in the lane on the night of
January 28, 2010. Your kindness will
never be forgotten. Also included
during the hectic time that evening
are Rosemary and Duffy Colvin and
Isobel Schiestel for being there for
us during such a difficult time.
Thank you to our relatives and
neighbours on the line for your love
and support. We are truly grateful for
all the words of comfort, cards, e-
mails, floral tributes, memorial
donations and all of the food
received. It was very much
appreciated. A special thank you to
Rev. Jeff Hawkins and the
McBurney Funeral Home for a
beautiful service and their
professionalism. From the
ambulance attendants, to Dr. Sleeth
and the nursing staff at the Wingham
and District Hospital for doing
everything they possibly could. We
thank you all. Thanks to Doris
Walden for hosting lovely lunch
between visitations. To George
Szarek, thank you for bringing
smiles to our faces with your
memories of Andy. Thanks to the
pallbearers. It’s not an easy job. We
were thrilled to be able to have the
lunch at the Wingham Golf Course.
It was a beautiful lunch! Our hats go
off to Bruce Skinn and all who
volunteered. Friends made during
Andy’s many years of barbering and
rounds on and off the golf course
were truly special to Andy. Thank
you for being his friend. Andy took
especially good care of his aunt
Doris and house cats Tom and Suzy.
He will be dearly missed and never
forgotten. We are truly grateful for
all the support. – Aunt Doris, Bill,
Kevin and Shelley. 06-1
