McMahon The Huron Perth District Women’s Institute directors’ meeting was held in the Montkon Optimist Hall hosted by the Hampstead and Kuhryville branches. The roll call asked where the Tweedsmuir histories are being stored from all the present and disbanded branches in the district. Many are in homes and others in archives, libraries and museums and have been microfilmed over the years. This will enable all the histories to be preserved together. Another Ladies Night Out will be held this fall. A committee comprised of the president, public relations officer, treasurer, and all branch ROSE co-ordinators will be involved in the planning session.
