The Foundations Program is designed to assist young adults with a developmental disability to successfully transition from school to a wide range of community participation. The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating the objectives of the Steering Committee, coordination, planning and management of a Program that supports individuals with self-directed planning/goals that focus on increased and improved quality of participation in commu- nity, informed choices and meaningful involvement. Duties will range from administration of policies, procedures, plan- ning, intake, developing and monitoring placements, recruit- ment/orientation of mentors, data collection, administrative, budgeting and ensuring adherence to Agency Policy and Procedures, Ministry and legislative requirements. Requirements: Related Community College Diploma; 3 years experience in the Human Services Field; demonstrat- ed leadership ability; supervisory experience; strong written/ verbal/computer skills; self-direction, knowledge of planning processes, advocacy, community resources and a range of services for adults with developmental disabilities.
