DAVIES. The family of the late
Lynne Davies would like to thank
our relatives, friends and neighbours
for their support at the time of her
death and during the past year.
Thank you to everyone for the food,
flowers, cards, gifts and visits this
past year, it was truly appreciated. A
special thanks to doctors and staff of
Seaforth Community Hospital for
their love, caring, compassion and
support this past year, but especially
for making Lynne feel that she was
still a part of her “second family”
even though she was unable to be
there. Thank you also to Annette and
Ern, Mary Anne and Jack and
Maureen and Donald for helping us
in so many ways during a very
difficult year and being there when
we needed you. Thank you to Mary
Fletcher of Northside United Church
and Steve Hildebrand of
Egmondville United Church for
their guidance and involvement in
the funeral service by allowing us to
celebrate her life and mourn her
passing. Thanks to piper Ian
MacCrae for playing her favourite
tunes and piping Lynne to her last
resting place. Our heartfelt
appreciation goes out to Ern
Lewington, Jack Van Den Hengel,
Donald Cole, Eugene Hirt, George
Zwep and Jerry Zwep for acting as
pallbearers and Annette Lewington,
Mary Anne Van Den Hengel,
Maureen Cole, Carol Hirt, Lois
Hodgson and Heather Clarke for
acting as flower bearers. Thanks to
Ruth Townsend and Troy St. Onge
for their compassion and guidance in
all aspects of the visitation and
funeral. Finally we would like to
thank the members of Northside
United Church for all their
assistance at the funeral service and
to the members of the Seaforth
Legion for preparing the luncheon
and allowing us the use of the hall.
We feel privileged to live in such a
caring community and we thank
everyone who came to the visitation
and funeral, as well as those who
called, sent emails, texts and
sympathy cards. Your support, love
and kindness will never be forgotten.
– John, Shannon, Chris and Jacqui.

DAER. In loving memory of our
parents and grandparents, Bert who
passed away on March 25, 1998 and
Dorothy who passed away on
January 5, 2003.
In a quiet country graveyard,
Where the gentle breezes blow,
Lies our parents we loved so dearly,
Whom we lost some years ago.
May the winds of love blow softly,
And whisper so you’ll hear,
We will always love and miss you,
And wish that you were here.
We know that can never happen,
So keep the door in Heaven open,
’Til someday we’ll meet again.
– Sadly missed but lovingly
remembered by all your families.
