TEACHERS VS
STUDENTS
The Athletic Association of
MISS set up a basketball game
between mixed teams, of
students versus 11th 'teachers last
Monday.
The school came out to
witness the battle and cheered
mainly for the students. Those
who didn't were quickly set
straight. The game provided
many laughs since the students
at times, knew more about
basketball than their coaches
who played for the teachers,
The score was touched up a
little by the scorekeeper who
must have been a rookie but
each side was sure they were the
ones who had won. Thanks to
the referee Mr. Smith who,
naturally called all the wrong
things.
SKI CLUB
Last week the Ski Club of
CHSS decided they needed a
holiday. The white slopes in
Collingwood seemed ideal so
they pumned a trip for the 25
add members to go skiing there
in the new year,
The one problem cif course
was money. The girls were roped
in to making all sorts of
delicious baked goods to sell at
school. The bake sale was a big
success making quite a big
portion of the money needed for
the trip.
The Students Council and
Athletic Association is also
helping to sponsor this trip.
Have fun!
THE SEgD
The CHSS school newsPapeTI
The Seed, has come out.
Many opinions and
discussions are revolving around
this topic which will prove
interesting to everyone. Stay
tuned to this column to read a
feature about the newspaper,
"The Seed", in January.
Meanwhile try to get a bold
of a copy over the holiday or
drop in at Arnaing's Clinton
Knitting Centre for yours.
Students at Central Huron Secondary School have been
involved in a competition recently to decorate the doors of
their home rooms. They have shown a lot of imagination as
seen in the pictures above and below. Unfortunately judging
was not complete before the deadline for this week's paper.
