The Weekly dance held in the
Anditoriuth was .featured this
week by two visitors who came
into the spotlight in the last half
of the dance, with our own Miss

really put on a wonderful half
holir of dance music,
Mr. Otis Sawyer of Kirkton
with the bass fiddle and Frank
Lostell of Exeter with the violist
thrilled the dancers with their
music. Thanks boys come again.
The usual run of wheelchair
dances, waltzes, two steps, rye
waltz, French minuet and the
Hokey-pokey called by Mrs. Jan
Bylsrna climaxed one of the best
dances we have had.

Some handicaps are only
;temporary, but they can be the
worst kind! According to the
'Ontario Provincial Police, heavy
drinking was implicated in the
deaths of a majority of drivers
killed in traffic accidents. For
them the influence of alcohol
became a fatal handicap.
"Here's a thought," said
Trevor, "it won't kill a young
person- to flunk any course
except this one — Driver
Education."

How about a puppy for
Christmas for your boy or girl?
One evening last week Jim
Storey and a co-worker were
hard at it hoisting bags of feed at
Wettlaufer's Feed Mill when
they noticed a bag at one side of
the yard' was moving. Advancing
upon it very cautiously, they
opened it gingerly and found
four of the cutest little pups.
Someone had callously dumped
them where they could have
frozen to death.
Kind-hearted Jim took the
little things (about six weeks
old) to his home to warm and
feed. He already has a dog of his
own so can't possibly keep them
and appeals to the public to give
them homes.
The Storey home phone is
482-3242 or he may be
contacted by callings 482-9792
during the day.
