Holmes as Fairy queen, She had
been chosen by Tawny Owl Mrs,

Brown Owl, Mrs. "Cantelon,
asked the girls to go quietly
down stairs

where they sat
down at a table to string Indian
corn, dyed pumpkin seeds, and
sunflower seeds (some of them
cracked) into Hallowe'en heads
for the "Fun Fair".
Some of the; Brownies had
their pictures taken while they
were busy working. After the
photographer left, the Brownies
sang songs while they Worked.
The beads were very nice.
Suddenly the meeting was over.

poverty and wealth in the world,
so that life can begin to have
some meaning for a vast
majority of humanity. How long
will it be until Christ's
commission will be fulfilled?
A. panel consisting of Mrs.
Ross Broadfoot, Mrs. Edgar
McBride, Mrs. David Cooper,
Mrs. Harold Jones and Mrs,
Robert Kinsman assisted in the
presentation. Mrs. Ross
Broadfoot rendered a lovely
piano solo. During the business
session decorating for our
Anniversary was discussed. The
importance, of the Regional
Presbyterial at Thames Road on
October 29 was stressed.
The president reported on the
committment to the craft
projects at the Hensall Nursing
Home for this doming year. The
nominating committee was
appointed, consisting of Mrs.
Alex McMurtrie, Mrs. Ray
Consitt, and Mrs. Edison
McLean to bring in the slate of
officers for 1971 in order that
the year's programs may be
given out at the December
meeting. We gratefully rely on
Mrs. Lloyd Cooper's kindness
for this big undertaking.
It •was decided that a canvass
of members rather than a Bazaar
would be the means of
increasing funds for this year.
The meeting closed with a
Thanksgiving Hymn and prayer
by Mrs. Elgie. Mrs. Pearson
Charters assisted by Mrs. E.
McBride, Mrs. Ross Broadfoot,
Mrs, R. Kinsman and Mrs. H.
