and beads expressed the varied
moods of the students.
Thursday (the big day for the
grade niners, as well as for the
senior grades) was Initiation
Day! Amid cries of "I'm a dead
horse" and "Wotta goo slam"
one could find the victimized
grade niners cleaning out lockers
and garbage pails, carrying books
(stacked well up) and pushing
pennies down the hall with their
noses for their slave drivers.
They all survived we hope. •
On Friday a rousing volleyball
game between a student team
and the teachers put everyone in
a relaxed mood for the big dance
that night. The students, amid
the cries of their supporters,
won the last game after the
teachers and the students took a
game apiece.
The Fear provided the music
for the dance Friday niel'o-
capping an eventful and
fast-moving students' week.
