The bride, the former Sharon
Elizabeth Lockhart, is the
',, daughter. of Mr. and Mrs. W, A.
Lockhart, RR 2, Goderich. The
groom's parents are Mr, and Mrs.
L. B, Graham, Goderich.
Rev. Robert Raymont
conducted the double-ring
ceremony. Mrs. Lee McCallum
was soloist with Paul Howe at
the organ.
The church was decorated
with candelabra arrangements of
cascading mums and eucalyptus
foliage as the bride proceeded to
the altar where she was given in
marriage by her parents. She

neckline trimmed with white
lagoda. Attention was focused
on the cage train which was
draped to form the main part of
the dress and fell gracefully from

held her four-tiered illusion veil.
Maid of honor was Miss
Colleen Lockhart, RR 2,
Goderich. She wore a
floor-length pant dress in coral
pink with matching lace
accentuating the empire
waistline. She wore matching
flowers in her hair and carried" a
graceful design of white and
coral flowers enhanced by
Mexican fern.
Bridesmaids Mrs. Ray Baxter,
Owen Sound, and Misses Daphne
and Carolyn Graham, Goderich,
were gowned identical to the
maid of honor.
John Foster, Galt, was
groomsman. Ushers were Ray
Baxter, Owen Sound; Wayne
Philbrick, Vineland; and Wayne
Gliders, Goderich.
,The wedding dinner was

received her guests in a pure silk
turquoise blue shantung dress
with sculpture lace and bead
trim, white accessories and a
corsage of roses and a gardenia.
The groom's mother assisted her
in a two-piece ecru lace
ensemble, emerald green
accessories and a corsage of
orange roses and a gardenia.
The couple travelled to Lake
of Bays, Northern Ontario for
their holidays. The bride's
going-away ensemble was a black
and white crepe dress, black
accessories and a corsage of red
baby roses.
Hostesses at showers for the
bride prior to her marriage were
Carolyn and Daphne Graham,
Goderich; Mrs. Jean , Perdue,
Clinton; Mrs. Isobel Sturdy,
Goderich; and Mrs. Eileen
Doolittle, Mount Forest.
St. Peters Roman Catholic
Church, St. Joseph, was the
scene August 15 for the wedding
of Richard Francis Jeffrey and
Dianne Elizabeth Cleave.
\ The groom is the son of Mrs.
Monica Jeffrey and the late
Richard Jeffrey, RR 2, Zurich,
and the bride the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Logan Cleave,
Bayfield.
Pink and white gladioli and
mauve mums decorated the
church for the double-ring
ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a dress of
white Lagoda satin, with empire
waistline, long tapered sleeves,
and stand-up collar. It featured
daisy chain trim and the back
extended into a short chapel
train. A flowing chapel veil also
featuring daisy trim was
gathered into a ,Juliet cap
headpiece. She carricid ai,eascale
of pink roses and ivy,
The matron of honour, Mrs.
Shirley O'Brien, sister of the
bride wore a dress of mauve
chiffon over taffeta with back
flowing panel, empire waistline,
and short sleeves, aIso featuring
daisy trim. She carried a basket
of mauve and white shasta
daisies.
The bridesmaids were Mrs.
Sharon Brakenshire, Zurich,
sister of the bride, and Marilyn
Jeffrey, Zurich, sister of the
groom. They were dressed
identically to the matron of
honour but in pink, with picture
hats and baskets of white and
pink shasta daisies.
Groomsman was Michael
Jeffrey, Zurich, brother of the
groom while ushers were Jack
Cleave, brother of the bride, and
Richard Fisher.

Soloist was Mr. W. Cook,
Clinton, accompanied by the
church organist, Mrs. Henry
Raw.
At a reception held
afterwards at the Zurich
,Community Centre, the bride's
mother received guests, wearing
a two-piece, turquoise, linen and
lace dress, with yellow
accessories and corsage of yellow
and coral roses. The groom's
mother assisted, wearing a
yellow two-piece lace dress with
yellow accessories, and corsage
of yellow and coral roses.
For the wedding trip the
bride wore a pink ensemble with
white lace coat and white
accessories and a deep pink
carnation corsage.
The couple will live in
London where the groom works

Agatha, Ontario.
The Reverend D. Beck
officiated at the double-ring
ceremony and traditional
wedding music was played by
the organist,. Mrs. Cox. Given in
marriage by her father, the bride
was gowned in a simply-styled
floor-length dress of 'peau de
soie, Her veil was also
floor-length and she carried
yell ow roses.
Attending the bride as maid
of honour, was Miss Debbie
Hauf, Bayfield. Her gown was of
yellow peau de sole and her
flowers were yellow gladioli.
Mrs. Larry Fisher, Waterloo and
Miss Sandra Telford, Bayfield,
brgesmaids„„,wore,,green
peau de soie dresses and carried
yellow gladioli. The attendant's
dresses were styled similarly to
that of the bride. Sharon
Bowers, Kitchener, fiowergirl,
wore a yellow peau de sole dress
and carried a basket of gladioli.
The groomsman was James
McCauley of Montreal and the
ushers were Larry Fisher,
Waterloo and Douglas Telford,
Bayfield. Bearing the rings was
Thomas Telford, Bayfield.
Following the wedding a
reception was held in Bayfield
Community Centre which was1
decorated with gladioli.
Receiving the guests, Mrs.
Telford wore a pink lace dress
with a corsage of yellow roses
and carnations. She was assisted
by Mrs. Fisher who chose a dress
of blue lace and wore a corsage
of an orchid and yellow roses.
For her wedding trip, the
bride changed to a yellow dress
with silver accessories.
Mr. and Mrs. Fisher will live
in Waterloo. Showers prior to
the wedding included a
Tupperware party held by Miss
Debbie Hauf, a shower at
Bayfield United Church and one
with Mrs. Larry Fisher of
Waterloo as hostess.
