TO THE PEOPLE OF CLINTON & DISTRICT
Years have a way of slipping by without notice and in a way, it seems like only a
short time ago since we first opened our doorsfor business in Clinton, but that year
was 1937, thirty-three years ago.
, Through those years, with the help of our staff, we have grown and expanded
about eight times, and I think we can say, without appearing too boastful, that our
business grew and became known all over Canada.
But our beginnings, and steady growth through the years has always depended
upon the support and trade with the people here in our own Community, a fact that.
Isobel and I have always appreciated and now as we leave, we want to express our
grateful thanks for your wonderful support.
The new owners, Mr. Eric Collins and Mr. Phil Gemeinhardt are both well known
in the community. They will operate the business under the name Ellwood Epps
Sporting Goods, and we are quite confident,,they wit) continue to offer first quati:tYr • 31:
