Church, St. Joseph, Ontario for
the marriage Saturday, June 27
of Linda Faye East, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Murray East, R.R.1

Maloney, son of Mr. and Mrs, L.
Robert Maloney of Bayfield.
The Rt. Rev. Bourdeau
officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
The bride escorted to the alter
by her father looked lovely in a
floor length Empire gown of
white crepe with long full sleeves
and wide fitted cuffs. Irradecent
sequins trimmed the bodice and
outlined the empire waist low
neck and wide cuffs.
Her headpiece was a wedding
band of daisies from which fell a
floor-length veil extending into a
train edged with minature
daisies. She carried a white bible
with mauve orchid and
Stephanotis showered with
white.. ribbon „and
floviers.' "
Michelle Marshall of Barrie as
matron of honour and Cathy
Anderson of Dashwood as
brideimaid were gowned alike in
mauve flocked nylon organza.
Patrica Maloney, sister of the
groom and Janet East, sister of
the' bride as bridesmaids wore
yellow flocked nylon organza.
Lynda Maloney, sister of the
groom and Sharon East, sister of
the bride as flower girls were
gowned alike in pink flocked
nylon organza. All the gowns
Were floor length and styled
alike with daisy trim around the
empire waist short puffed sleeves
and low neck. They all wore
floppy brimmed hats to. match
their dresses. The bridesmaids
carried baskets of white, mauve,
yellow and pink Shasta mums
with trailing ivy.
The flower girls carried
minature baskets matching the
bridesmaids. They also wore
cultured pearl necklaces gifts of
the bride. The groomsman was
Sam Palmer of London and the
ushers were Robert Anderson of
Dashwood, Ron Rider and Larry
Schilbe both of Bayfield. They
all wore dark trousers and white
jackets to match the grooms.
The Solist Ken Regan of
London was accompanied by the
'organist Mrs. Henry Raw.
For the reception in Clinton
Legion Hall the bride's mother
wore a dress of hot-pink nylon
chiffon with white accessories
and corsage of pale pink
carnations. The groom's mother

carnation corsage. For travelling
to the north, the bride wore a
yellow crimplene dress with
white accessories and purple
orchid corsage.
The young couple are residing
in London where the bride is on
the staff of London Life and the
groom at Simpsons. Guests from
out of town attending the
wedding were from St. Clair
Shores, Michigan, Burlington, St.
Mary's, London, Kitchener,
Blyth, Stratford, Cannington,
Goderich, Bayfield, Cromarty,
Seaforth and Hensall.

of Exeter officiated at the
double-ring ceremony. The choir
entered the church singing
"Praise my soul" and sang "Oh
Perfect Love" during the signing
of the register,
The lovely bride, given in
marriage by her father, wore a
gown of white moire Juliette
styled' with sheer puffed,
three-tiered sleeves with
matching ,sheer cathedral train
trimmed with satin. Stephanotis
and lilies formed a pretty
headpiece twith a shoulder-length•
veil. She carried a bouquet of
cascade red roses and white
carnations.
Miss Margaret Trewartha,
sister of the groom from
Kitchener, was maid of honour
wearing a Juliette-styled gown,
abort puff sleeves of luscious
lemon, sparkle organza with a
matching butterfly bow and
matching streamers in her long
hair.
Bridesmaids were Janice
Middleton and Rosanne
Middleton, sisters of the bride
who were gowned alike in
Juliette-styled dresses of sparkle
organza. Janice wore "posh
rose" and Rosanne sheer lime
while both had headpieces to
match the maid of honour's. The
bridesmaids carried colonial
bouquets of white carnations
and matching ribbons.
Groomsman was Andy Wilson
of Stroud and Toronto. Ushers
were Drew Middleton, brother
of the bride, and Charles
Trewartha, brother of the
groom.
The men of the bridal party
wore white tuxedos, black
trousers and boutonnieres of red
roses.
Following the wedding guests
attended a dinner at the officers'
mess at CFB Clinton followed
by a going-away party at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ross
Middleton.
At the dinner the bride's
mother received guests wearing a
gown of rose sparkle crepe
trimmed with sheer georgette
and a matching picture hat and
corsage of white French
carnations. The groom's mother
assisted, wearing a dress of sheer
floral georgette, the colours
accenting the bridesmaids'
dresses and matching hat and
corsage of white French
carnations.
For the wedding trip to
Diane Lynn McKinley,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
McKinley, of R.R.1, Zurich,
exchanged wedding vows with
Vincent Patrick Ryan, son of
Colonel and Mrs. E. W. Ryan, of
Canadian Forces Base, Clinton,
in the Goshen United Church,
on June 27, at 5 pan.

Varna and Goshen United
Church and Major G.
Youmatoff, of Canadian Forces
:Base, Clinton, officiated in the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a long gown
of white organza accented by
daisy chain trim, styled with an
Empire waist, standup collar,
and long full gathered sleeves.
The back extended into a short
train. A flowing chapel veil also
featuring daisy trim was
gathered into a Juliet cap
head-piece. She carried a
bouquet of white shasta daisies,
white rose buds, and ivy.
The maid of honor was Betty
Anne Watts, of Huntsville,
Ontario, and the bridesmaids
were JO Ryan, sister of the
groom, and Debbie, Janet, and
Brenda McKinley, sisters of the
bride. They were gowned in

decorated with baskets of white
gladioli and yellow daisies for
the marriage of Robert Wayne
Stirling, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert L. Stirling, R,R.3
Clinton to Donna Marie Clifton,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Clifton, Brucefield on June 27,
1070.
Rev. E. D. Stuart officiated at
the double-ring ceremony. Mrs.
Frank McGregor of Brucefield
was organist and Mrs. William
Cook of Goderich was soloist,
singing "Oh Perfect Love" and
"Always".
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a
floor-length gown of imported
lace on Empire lines. The
semi-A-line skirt was enhanced
by a front panel of Ligoda
topped with a matching bow and
sweeping to a chapel train. Her
veil of cloud white tulle illusion
was clasped to her head with a
cluster of white roses edged with
pearls. She carried a crescent
bouquet of yellow roses.
The matron of honour, Mrs.
Ken Coleman of Seaforth, was
gowned in a floor-length
floor-length dresses of soft
yellow flocked vaile, with
Empire waists and gathered
skirts, high necklines and short
puffed sleeves. They wore filmy
yellow picture hats, and carried
nosegays of white and yellow
daisies.
Peter Heist, of Grand Bend,
was groomsman, and Richard
Elliott, of Kitchener, and John
McKinley, of Zurich, ushered
the guests.
Mrs. Bruce Keys was the
organist, and trumpet duets were
rendered by Mrs. Clare McBride
and Mrs. Doris McKinley.
For the reception held in the
church basement, the bride's
mother greeted guests wearing a
mint green lace dress, with beige
accessories, and a corsage of
yellow tea roses. The groom's
mother chose a beige dress and
cape ensemble,, with lace trim,
beige accessories, and a corsage
of yellow tea roses.
For travelling, the bride chose
a two-piece, coral and white
tunic dress, with white
accessories and a gardenia
corsage.
The young couple will reside
in Kitchener.

Joseph Clifton, Brucefield, and
Mr. Gordon Caldwell, Clinton as
ushers.
Following the wedding a
dinner and reception were held
at the Canadian Legion Hall,
Seaforth. The bride's mother
received guests wearing an
ensemble featuring a lace bodice,
soft-pleated skirt in mauve with
miniature mauve carnations and
yellow roses.

The ceremony was performed
by the Rev. Father Kelly of
Clinton. Traditional wedding
music was played by Mr. Gary
Black, organist.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a
floor-length grown of white silk
peau de soi featuring lily point
sleeves and a high empire-style
waistline. An attached
cathedral-length peau de soie
train cascaded from the empire
back. A pearl and crystal
head-piece held her three-tiered
French illusion veil and she
carried a white bible trimmed
with ribbons and flowers.
Miss Mary Chisholm, sister of
the bride was maid of honour
and wore a mauve satin gown
with empire style waist. The
flower girl also a sister of the
bride was gowned identically in
pink satin. Both carried
bouquets of shasta daisies and
white mums.
Groomsman was Michael
,Carter and ushers were Ronald
of the bride.
Following the wedding
ceremony the guests were
entertained at a champagne
dinner served at the bride's
grandparents home, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Robinson, Goderich.
The bride's rnothe; wore a
blue lace empire style dress with
matching coat and a corsage of
pink carnations. The groom's
mother chose a coral acetate
nylon lace dress and wore a
corsage of shaded mauve
carnations.
After a honeymoon trip to
Niagara Falls and the States, the
couple returned to Clinton
where they will reside.
Before her wedding the bride
was entertained at a**
miscellaneous shower, giVen by
the grooms aunt, Mrs. Graham
Johnston also the grooms
cousins Mrs. Steve Maguire, Mrs.
Gordon Tait and Mrs. Ken

wedding rehearsal on the Friday
evening, a luncheon was held at
the home of the grooms parents.

Kingston, Toronto,
Catherines, London,
Sound and Montreal.
