The new factory will produce mobile homes employing an additional 150 persons. The plant is located in the southwest part of the village. Through the participation of the public in the wide area the hospital serves, the net proceeds from the project raised a total of more than $2100. In a brief regular meeting of the auxiliary prior to the annual session, members requested Mrs. MacLean to suggest that the property committee of the hospital board, of governors meet with the auxiliary's buying committee regarding the question of new drapes in the west wing of the hospital. A croupette will be purchased by the auxiliary to be used for respiratory conditions in pediatrics. Cost is estimated at $223. The payment of $30 was authorized for the auxiliary's membership fee in the Hospital Auxiliary Association of Ontario. Volunteers offered to make 71 yards flannelette purchased by the auxiliary, into 25 sheets for the children's ward.
