Mr. Gerald Qodbolt was •chairman and numbers on ’ the program included a sing-song led by Mr. Reg Hodgson with Eleanor Hodgins at the piano; readings by Mrs. Hepburn, Mrs. Alton Isaac and Mr. Lloyd Morgan; a piano solo by Kay Hodgson; songs by .girls of the Truth Seekers Sunday School class; solos by Bobby Lam­ mie and Mr. Lloyd Hodgson, and a musical number by the Mc- Outclieons with Keith Hodgins as pianist. The Clarke family was invited to the front of the room and in­ troduced in a very unique man­ ner by Mrs. Ken Greb. Lunch was .served. Carol Service Rev. Clarke was the leader and Mr. Lloyd Morgan the narrator for the carol and candle-lighting service in the church on Sunday evening in which the "Meaning of Christmas’’ was vividly portrayed in story and song. Curts died St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, December 10, where she had been confined for the past five weeks. Mrs. Curts, whose maiden name was Susannah Schrader, was born in Hay township. Her parents were among the early settlers in that district. She was a member of Dashwood Evangelical Church until her marriage in 189 6 when her membership was transferred to Greenway Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons and three daughters, her husband hav­ ing predeceased her nearly four years ago: Elton and Lawrence, of McGillivray; William, of Lon­ don; Manuel, at home; Mrs. Ken­ neth (Luella) Smithers, of Park­ hill; Viola, London, and Evelyn, at home, Eight grandchildren and two great grandsons survive; also one step-brother, William Lemp- ke, of Imlay City, Mich. Rev. W. C. Smith officiated at the funeral services which were held on Monday from her late res­ idence followed by a public ser­ vice in Greenway United Church. Interment was in Parkhill Ceme­ tery. The grandchildren carried the floral tributes and the pallbearers were Lisle and Emerson Wood­ burn, James and Harvey Eagle- son and Lloyd and Arthur Bro- phey.
