Nurses Actor
Miss Helen Sullivan, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan,
of Dashwood, who is on the staff
of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Sarnia,
was one of the nurses who looked
after actor Pat O’Brien when he
entered the hospital for a check
up.
The actor wasn’t really in need
of hospital care, but when he
heard his good friend, Joseph
Kupke, of Algonac, Mich., was a
patient in the Sarnia hospital, he
came from Illinois to visit him.
To make sure he wouldn’t have
to observe visiting hours, he took
up residence”there for a check-up.
He enjoyed the peaceful atmos
phere of St. Joseph’s.
