Caven Yule Fair Successful Event The annual Christmas Fair, sponsored by Caven Congrega tional Circle and held in the W. G. Simmons show rooms on Sat urday afternoon, was a very suc cessful project, As usual Santa Claus was on hand to welcome the visitors and distribute candy to the children. The home baking table held .particular interest with its supply of Christmas cakes and puddings, shortbread and mince meat, The country store, fancy work booth, fish pond and the attract ive tea room were equally well patronized. $25 above the the W.M.S. Mrs. E. Carter conducted the devotional period. Mrs. A. E. Hol ley played an instrumental num ber. Connie Qstland find Marilyn Bissett sang a duet and Mrs. R. E. BalKwilJ played “Star of the East” during the program. The W.A. meeting was led by Mi’g. E< R. Hopper. Plans were made to decorate the church tor the candlelight service.
