The Rev. H. E. Rop- pel officiated. The bride wore a blue-grey dress with navy accessories and a corsage of red roses. Attending the bride was Mrs. Keith McBride, Stanley Town­ ship. Mrs. Cadick and children are spend­ ing the week visiting friends. Mr. Jas. Ramsay, Miss Shirley Amon, Miss Kathleen Sorenson and Mr. Bob Lowan, Georgetown, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Ramsay. The November meeting of the Women’s Missionary Society was held at the home of Mrs. T. L. Scott with Mrs. T. Laing presid­ ing. The study book was taken by Mrs. Calder McKaig, with Mrs. M, Lamond, Mrs. W. Harper and Mrs. T. L. Scott assisting. The topic “A New Day” was giv­ en by Mrs. John Wallace. Mrs. Mrs. T. L.
