Meeting The W.A, and W.M.S. met on Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Robert Simpson, vice-president of the W.A., in charge. Mrs. Simp­ son gave the theme, Mrs. Simp­ son led in prayer, and Mrs. Ro­ bert Miller read the scripture les­ son. Mrs. Wiseman gave the sev­ enth chapter from the study book. An invitation was accepted from the James St. W.A. blossom tea and baking May 15 in James St. Church, Exeter. Mrs. Roy Ballantyne charge of the program which con­ sisted of a piano solo by Mrs. Robert Miller and a poem by Mrs. Melvin Gardiner. Mrs. Wilfred Hunkin Reg Hodgert, who were to the presbyterial at gave their reports. Mother’s Day Service The Mother’s Day program was followed in the church on Sun­ day. Mr. William Elford read the scripture lesson, Miss Carol Anne Hume read a story. A vocal num­ ber by the junior boys from Mrs. Elmore Gackstetter’s class and a skit by the junior girls from Mrs. Robert Hern’s class were enjoyed. Mrs. W, J. Moores read the story. Diplomas and seals were award­ ed. Diplomas—'Billy Anderson, Lar­ ry Ballantyne, Jean Anderson. Second year seal—Helen An­ derson, Margaret Anderson, Billy Snow. Ninth year seal—Mildred Bal­ lantyne.
