Soccer Teams Our first response to our latest gesture of helping to organize any group who wishes to promote any activity comes from, a Dutch group who want to pass on their skill and know-how in soccer to any adults or boys between the ages of 12 to 16. These men, headed by Rene Van der Neut, have all played soccer in their native Holland and are hoping to organize leagues with teams from surrounding towns. Anyone wishing to play soccer please contact Rene or yours truly at 333. Practices got under way Tuesday night at the community park. One of .the biggest thrills I have ever witnessed in sports was the Scottish Soccer Classics in Glascow, Scotland, between Cel tics and Rangers. There were 65,000 people and our hockey club sat in the Celtic section and unknowingly cheered for the Ran gers. A kind old gentleman prob ably saved our lives by instruct ing us who to cheer for. It's a wonderful game. Bowling Minor bowling league got un der way Saturday morning and from start to finish the boys and girls worked hal’d for their first wins. This Saturday the boys and girls will be using handicaps. High girls single—M. Francois, 198; high boys—R. Horn, 189. High doubles—R. Horn, 372.
